With selected protein from a single source, and selected carbohydrate sources of rice and barley which provide a combination of soluble and insoluble fibres, it is a dietetic food, excellent for the support of the digestive system, as well as reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances.
Proportionally, large breeds have a smaller stomach than their smaller cousins, making them prone to the potentially serious problem of bloat/twisted stomach which can be caused by eating too much too quickly, so the large breed adult kibble has a higher nutrient density - meaning lower food intake- and is physically much bigger than a standard kibble, slowing down the rate of eating.
