With selected protein from a single source, protein levels have been increased so that weight loss is predominately from the fatty tissue you want your dog to lose, rather than from the muscle tissue that you want to keep. Selected carbohydrate sources of rice and oats, which provide a combination of soluble and insoluble fibres, will make your dog feel full, even when it is eating less calories.
