EXCELLENT Barbara on 4 November 2021

This product was recommended by the vet for our 12-year old cat who was diagnosed with an under active thyroid. She had lost a lot of weight and her coat became thin and we were very worried. Hills Y/D has transformed her back to the cat she was. She has put on weight and her coat is glossy and back to normal and she is a much happier cat. She tucks into this food like no other, which is a relief and a bonus as she has been picky, and the vet advised it was fine to feed it to our other cat who doesn't have thyroid problems. The Pet Planet service is great too.

Good Value MU on 14 December 2018

Having a cat that has a under active thyroid, it is a mission to get food that isn't too expensive, whilst still maintaining your cats health. Pet Planets y/d food is about 50% less than what you would get in a vet's I would recommend this product, it does have a bit of a smell, but you get used to it and I would suggest keeping it in an air tight container as once you open the bag it never quite seals correctly again.

Excellant Sadams on 20 October 2016

SAVED THE DAY WITCHIE on 8 August 2014

After my cat was diagnosed with Thyroid problems I was pleased that I was able to use this product and avoid having to give my cat dreaded tablets to control her condition Most pet owners know how difficult it is to make a pet take tablets so using this food is so much easier and she loves it

Cats love it hdsinclair on 26 November 2014

My older cat is hyper thyroid and can only eat this dry food and the equivalent meat Fortunately he loves it and has regained all the weight he lost prior to going on this diet My younger cat likes it too and steals some if he gets the chance
