The Fish Pod Moon Carbon Foam & Filter Pack comprises a carbon foam and three fine, white disposable filter pads. Your water should first flow through the white filter pads, then through the carbon foam before flowing through the ceramic media and back into the aquarium.
The white filter pads remove fine waste particles whilst the carbon foam helps to remove odours and discolouration to keep the water crystal clear. The filter pads should be replaced every 2-4 weeks and the carbon foam should be replaced every 8 weeks to ensure your filter operates at maximum efficiency.
