Simply affix your T8 fluorescent bulb, of the correct wattage, into the water resistant end caps, making sure that the bulb retaining clips are securely installed to a solid surface, to ensure the light can be situated safely over the aquarium water.

The starter unit has long leads to allow it to be positioned out of site either in a cabinet, or under the tank. It should be situated in a ventilated area, away from humidity, moisture, flammable objects or fragile surfaces.
