Great value. I would love to buy more of these boxes in different sizes for my local pet rescue. Our volunteers have found good homes in Holland for some of our cats, but they have to travel by air. The airline allows the rescue in Holland free transport for the animals being brought in from Spain and other countries which keeps costs to a minimum, whereas road transport is quite expensive. Sadly, the cost of the carriage means that I will have to look here in Spain for crates which are similar, even though the quality may not be as good.

Great value

This is the second carrier I have bought from Pet planet, the first one is the larger version and was so impressed with it that when I needed a smaller one it was a no brainer. Great quality and rapid delivery, Very highly recommended.

Perfect for a cat too!

I bought this for my new cat. It might be a dog carrier, but the xsmall is perfect for my cat. The front door is much easier to open than a cat carrier too!

Great value and easy

My small barkshire carrier arrived within five days in strong, safe packaging. I chose this model because I needed a replacement and I liked the special offer that pet planet were giving. Previously I had a cat carrier made by ferplast, which is a very good make, so as I was buying a carrier which was much cheaper I did not expect a great deal. However, the barkshire carrier has a better locking mechanism which makes getting the top part on and off so much simpler and quicker. I like the fact that it has a spring loaded lock on the door as it is less fiddly than my ferplast model. In short I am greatly impressed my the design. Having said that I have one little criticism. Whereas my ferplast carrier had very rigid sides, the barkshire plastic does give when I press hard on the sides. However as I do not intend to throw it down the stairs or kick the box into the vets it will not be a concern. I do recommend this carrier wholeheartedly.
