Tough trout!

Good hardy toy. No good for playing pull games but that's fine as my BC not really into tug/pull games. He chewed a fin off pretty quickly but the fish body and squeaker still intact after a few weeks. Quite a substantial size and squeaker isn't too loud so not as irritating when he decides to go for it and squeak it non-stop for 5 minutes at a time.

tough toy

My dog destroys toys and it only took him 20 minutes to work a hole in the seam and pull the stuffing and squeaker out. However, that one hole is the only one he's managed to make - it is still recognisably a fish, very robust and restuffable! He just spent half an hour finding little biscuits hidden in it: I picked up the stuffing, restuffed the fish and it's ready for another day. Very impressed with the quality.

Great toy.

Still going strong. Big enough to keep my retriever interested, he loves it and it's showing no signs of of wear and tear.

Durable

Says it's a toy to play tug of war but you can really only hang on to the tail end of it. It's quite a big fish so designed for larger dogs. Have found all the Fat Cat toys to be very tough and this is no different.

2 days to destroy!

I got this as a present for my Jack Tzu boy who turned 1 last week. He loves toys but tends to find the weak spot & rip it to pieces. After reading the reviews, I thought this was a good one to try & if it lasted a week, it'd still be an improvement on every other toy I've brought for him. In 2 days he'd chewed off the fin on the top & worked a hole then pulled out all the stuffing! Fish is now in the bin! If your dog isn't an obsessive chewer, I'm sure this toy would be fine but for someone who has a dog like my boy, it's quite expensive for 2 days worth of play!
