Hill's Prescription Diet Metabolic Dry Cat Food is clinically proven to support weight loss at home. In an in-home feeding study, 81% of cats lost weight within 2 months

  • Naturally works with your cat's unique energy use, activating the body's natural ability to burn excess body fat. This helps turn overweight cats from fat storers to fat burners, helping them to lose weight and prevent weight regain.
  • Helps regulate appetite and enhances satiety, helping them feel fuller for longer and reducing begging behaviour.
  • Clinically proven to avoid weight regain following a weight loss programme

My elder cat has been on a weight loss diet for a year. She's been struggling for months until I put her on this. She has finally started to lose weight.

All three of my cats love this Beverly on 31 July 2018

It's too soon to say whether it's working on their weight but they all love eating it. Having three cats all liking the same food is great news!

Purrrfect food. Our vet recommended this food so our 7yr old tabby rescue cat could lose weight. We have a small beaker to measure the food out accurately and this is his daily ration with half a sachet of meat. Pleased to say he has lost a kilo and is now looking more svelte. Activity level about the same i.e. sleeping but knowing he is less likely to get nasty conditions helps our resolve when he is demanding more food 'cos he's still hungry. I was told at the vets that he will have to be on it for life as it does actually affect the metabolism so if he goes back to normal food his metabolism will respond accordingly.(I'd like some food that does that!!) His much smaller sister also wants this food, though she doesn't need it.
