It has a cosy hidey hole at the base for snooze time and next there is a platform to climb up on to swat away at that interesting dangly toy and, finally, for the very adventurous, there is a top lookout platform to survey the room from.

My cat's new favourite

I already had a smaller Purrshire Activity Centre, but having moved house needed a taller one so my cat could see out of the window. It was easily built in 10 minutes and my cat was straight on it and hasn't really left it since! The top platform is a perfect size for her to doze on and watch the world go by.

Excellent product

I have just placed an order for a third of these brilliant cat trees so that Pudding can survey his territory on three sides of our home. The raised sides of the top must be very comfortable as he looks as if he's sat in his favourite armchair. The earlier two have stood up well to his scratching and are must be very sturdy as he really goes at them and he is a 5kg muscular boy. Yes I know he is a spoilt boy but he gives my husband and I many hours of entertainment, never knowing what he is going to do next. An example is that he scratchers the trees from the top hanging down the tree. Tip from my husband, put it together upside down, much easier.
