Silver vine About time in the UK

Catnip does it for the majority of cats but for those who are immune to its effects there are alternatives Silver vine is one of them and in its native areas is the cat attractant of choice Itts other names are Japanese catnip and matatabi Its effect is very similar to catnip and arguably even better I bought the two piece version of this toy seen as I have two cats and as soon as it was delivered they were both showing extreme interest to get inside the wrapping Once they did they loved it slobbering and chewing rubbing and ripping in to each piece The plush fabric used is unusual better than most in that it seems extra rough and is basically reminiscent of a half dead creature The crinkling inside is good as is the more solid piece of stuffing being something my cats can really get their teeth into My cats dont usually like toys with sounds but the bells on this toy certainly do not put them off and sometimes I think maybe they even like them A well priced toy not that it should cost much for what it is but it has been made with an understanding of cats and the proof is that both of my cats love this Just waiting for more alternatives to catnip to make it onto the mainstream cat toy market such as lemongrass and valerian root but in the meantime matatabi is marvellous Highly recommend to all cat guardians for all cats

Ok for some cats, but not mine.

None of my cats actually showed any interest in these at all which is surprising because they like catnip and valerian. (Most of them anyway!) We were really disappointed as these seem like such nice toys. Maybe some cats would like them, but not ours. Quality is nice though.
