A brilliant multi-use harness, this Ruffwear Webmaster Harness is supportive and intended not only for outdoor adventures with your dog but also for rehabilitation and mobility assistance. Its anatomical design provides controlled, comfortable and balanced lifting with good load dispersion; allowing you to manoeuvre and assist your dog up and over obstacles. It also has five adjustment points to allow for a full range of motion and is a really secure design for even the best Houdini dog!

It features a foam padded chest and belly straps for comfortable, extended wear and there are two connection points: an aluminium V-ring leash attachment up front and a reinforced webbing loop at the rear for additional control. You can easily adjust it to fit your canine friend and the efficient, easy to clip, sheltered buckles keep the straps firmly in place. This is a great quality harness that has been designed especially with your pet's comfort in mind and comes with a reflective trim for low-light visibility.

Awesome harness for a Houdini dog

This harness is perfect for my dog who has managed to get herself out of every other harness we've tried (and there's been quite a few). So far no Houdini escapes so I'm extremely happy. The harness is also excellent quality. Expensive but worth it.

A brilliant idea

I have a springer spaniel who is getting older and can't cope with stiles.I bought this harness hoping that the process of having to have a person at each side of the stile to do the manoeuvre would be a thing of the past. My husband was very sceptical, but our first walk in the Lake District proved that this harness works and, although quite pricey, was worth it. The dog wasn't impressed and looked positively embarrassed at being suspended in mid air, but he's a dog and soon got over it.

Fantastic harness

Excellent harness, well made and sturdy. It is the only harness that our dog (a Patterdale Terrier) cannot escape from. He is a rescue dog and suffers from anxiety when meeting other dogs and has a tendency to bolt when hearing loud noises. The handle is perfect for extra control when required and the secure fit of the harness has the additional benefit of making him feel more secure when wearing it. Fully washable - but air dry as it has a tendency to tighten if put over a radiator.

I loved it but it didn't last

This is a very secure harness, my dog could not escape from it like she used to do when wearing other harnesses. It looks well-made, but the point where the v-ring attaches starts to fray very quickly. The harness lasted 4 months, after that I didn't feel it was safe to use the v-ring because the fabric that holds it was very worn. To be fair there is another attachment point at the back, but it is not as useful. I have bought a 2nd harness of the same make from another retailer. After only 3 weeks I am having the same issue with the fabric strap that hold the V-ring. It is very disappointing, considering the cost of the harness.
