The RAC 2 in 1 Car Harness converts easily from a walking harness to a car harness. With its Y shaped collar, and soft padding, this is comfortable and well sized, and it comes with an adjustable chest strap so it is easy to get the perfect fit.

Check Size

This is a quality and good value item. However, the Large size is a bit snug for our Lab/Collie cross although a picture of a Labrador is shown on the packaging. XL would be a better fit but this does not appear to be available from PetPlanet. Make sure you measure your dog before buying.

Fantastic

The harness is perfect for our Lurcher. Lurchers are notoriously hard to get decent harnesses for due to narrow shoulders, deep chests and thin skin/no body fat. Standard harnesses slip off and rub the shoulders. This harness has wide padded straps and is very easy to fit our dog into. Very secure with the double D rings meaning you can attach the lead before releasing the seat belt, reducing the risk of escape! Excellent value for money.

Cannot adjust to fit properly

The harness has a lovely feel but it doesn't allow for too much adjustment around straps. Bought for a very fidgety and large golden retriever puppy (3/4 grown) and it slips off shoulders (like an off the shoulder gown! Lol!) this isn't great for safety but I'm holding out for when he gets bigger. Great reflective feature and strong too.

Dog escaped from harness whilst in car beware

Put our dog Beagle in the car attached the harness to the seat belt set off Within 30 mins the dog had escaped from the harness and was exploring the back seat Lucky he enjoys being in the car but this could have been a disaster

Not good

Having only used this harness on about 8 times it has split and is no longer usable. Not impressed. I ordered a large size for my border collie and initially it did its job - kept him secure in the back seat but unfortunately the harness is now unusable and I will be looking for a refund.
