Very good toy

Dog loves this toy - as others have commented, we took the little bit of rope off before giving it to him - seemed risky to leave it on as it is easily removed.

Big and bright

Its big bright and sturdy. Throws well and easy for dog to carry. The construction will make it easy to put a new rope on if/when the original gets damaged. Looks like it'll last a good while.

As specified.

My 7 month old German Shepherd loves this toy. He carries it to and from park easily in his mouth. It Throws very well, can get good loft and distance. Floats well. Right length of rope attached, no adjustment required. Excellent colour means it can be spotted quickly if dropped in field.

Not for chompers

OK, we have had this for a few days. My dog is great at retrieving but chomps the retrieves as she is returning it. This is a Kong, I expected it to be very tough. The material it is made from is a very thick polystyrene type of material, which gives it its lightness and ability to float. We only use it on the walk, not in the house or garden to play with. However, after a few walks, the retrieve is now pockmarked with tooth marks. I am a bit concerned that eventually a piece will break loose and may be swallowed so I will keep a very close eye on it. The rope is also a problem. It kept coming loose due to the thickness of the rope and the material it is made of. I was constantly re-knotting it as tightly as possible, I was doing this several times during the walk. Eventually the inevitable happened and it was returned to me without the rope, which is now languishing in the field somewhere. On the plus side, it is light, easy to spot in the long grass, easy to carry and throws beautifully, even without the rope. Well keep using it, but as soon as any bit breaks off, that is the end of it. Hope this helps.

Will not last

Rope kept coming undone needed tightening every time it was used. I dont think it will withstand being used by my 2 Labrador retrievers and golden retriever . Not as well made as previous KONG toys.
