This Adaptil Refill 48ml is for use with the Starter Kit Adaptil Diffuser only which is sold by PetPlanet on 67499. It is not recommended for OLDER diffusers.
The Adaptil Diffuser is a discreet plug-in which bathes the home in is a synthetic copy of the dog appeasing pheromone naturally released by a mother dog to comfort and reassure her new puppies. This pheromone has been shown to have the same comforting effect on puppies and adult dogs in stressful situations, when released through Adaptil products.

Customer hints:
- Leave the diffuser switched on continuously.
- Do not plug in behind a door, curtain or behind/underneath furniture.
- Replace the diffuser every 6 months.
Customer Note: The new refills will fit older diffusers, but should not be used as the amount of pheromone released will not be correct and the length of diffusion cannot be guaranteed. If you do use an Old diffuser + new refill - the higher temperature of the old style diffuser will lead to a quicker diffusion of the pheromone and it cannot be guaranteed that the refill will last for only 30 days.
