BEAUTIFUL QUALITY BED

The cats absolutely love their new beds. They are good quality, nicely made, comfortable mattresses - much appreciated by my cats' old bones. Just hoping the beds wash well, and then will be worth five stars!

Lovely, Sturdy Pet Beds

I already had one of these and have had it for many years, it goes through the washing machine and comes out lovely every time (I do have to reshape it a bit). It is hard wearing and my Jack Russell Coco loves it! She does rough it up a bit but after years, still no wear evident and no rips or tears. I purchased another three of these for my mum and the three Jack Russells are all very happy now, they love to snuggle in the warm, comfy caves! Now another 3 have been purchased for the upstairs rooms so these dogs are really spoilt and very happy! Delivery from Pet Planet was very speedy and the service was great too.

Good bed. Took a while but cat now likes it.

For the 1st three weeks this nice-looking bed sat on the floor and my 6yr-old male cat regarded it with only vague interest and some suspicion; he sniffed it but wouldn't enter even after I used cat-nip spray on the inside, which he loves. I also tried 'baiting' it with dreamies and he simply put his front paws in, ate dreamies and then swiftly retreated. I decided, sadly, that was one of those purchases that simply wasn't going to work for him. I went away for 8 days over Xmas and put my cat into a cattery. Before I left I put this bed on top of a wooden book case, about 3.5ft off the floor, so I could sweep the floor. This is a surface my cat often visits during the day. When I brought my cat home he almost immediately jumped onto the bookcase and went straight into the bed and stayed there for a good hour. I was astonished. Increasingly he spends time there and seems very happy in it. Cats eh? So, if it doesn't work on the floor I'd suggest putting it away for a few days and then placing it somewhere off the floor, higher up. Given it's harder to see out of than an open top bed, it now seems pretty obvious that for personal cat 'security' reasons, it may not feel safe to them when it's on the floor.
