Leon is a very happy cat

We bought two and this is a review for the smaller one. Leon is an 18 month old ginger tabby who weighs about 4.2kg and is a finer boned cat than his brother. He has loved his basket and for the first week, once wed put newspaper and an old jumper into the base, it was his favourite place to sleep. Even though it was bought as a carrier, it looks really nice in our home and works as a cat cave.When we had to take him to the vet shortly after taking delivery, he went into it happily and had no complaints when we travelled by bus to get there. Its easier for me to carry than the 50cm one but thats to do with me and not the basket. You need to put something in the base otherwise itd be very uncomfortable but thats easy to do. They both like the smell of the baskets and having something to chew. As the humans who paid for both baskets, were delighted with them and have no hesitation in recommending them, plus theyre not plastic so more environmentally friendly.

Superb value and design

This is a perfect carrier for a small size cat or kitten. I like the fact it is made from Wicker and the design is superb.

Not ‘excellent’ because

I really like these baskets but because they are a natural, handmade product they do have some sharp ends of wicker inside. I resolved this by lining the base with newspaper and making some padded cushions. My cats are happy with them and one of them even sleeps in hers. All-in-all I would recommend them.

Good

The product is good and so is the quality the only thing I have trouble with is the lock as its hard to do and the wire door as my cat trays to put her head through the big gaps
