Xmas present

Actually got this to go in motorhome for her to play with if I have to leave her for a short time. Having looked at same I know she will love it

Senses Scratch Pad

I have bought other catit items that are excellent quality, so I knew that I would not be wasting my money on this purchase. The scratch pad is a tough plastic dish and it has layers of cardboard in. There are little wells within the cardboard where you would put some small treats for the cats to be able to fish out with their claws and paws. I have only put in the treats once because now the cats use it as a scratching pad without the treats. I do not think the scratching surface will last more than 2-3 months as I have 3 cats that all have a scratch on it. I do not know if catit have refills for this item (cardboard insert). If they don't, I doubt I would replace it, but I would rather buy another catit senses massage center which will last a lot longer than the scratch pad. However I still consider it to be a good buy.

What is it for Smudge is being inventive

Smudge likes this toy but will not use it as a scratch pad He likes it when I put treats in the recesses but most of all likes to sit on it like a lion in a circus ring waiting to do tricks He will also use it as a pillow However he still prefers the wallpaper for scratching Also ignores his upright scratching post so I still have work to do to reeducate him

Both cats have completely ignored it even though I have sprinkled catnip on it.

My kittens have shown very little interest in this and prefer a larger scratcher instead
