Item was excellent value and quality but after reading reviews ordered size 5 for my staffordshire bull terrier I ended up having to go to the local store and purchase size 3 which the assistant in the store recommended I followed the instructions and put soft cheese on the inside of the muzzle so that he would willingly put his nose into it I did this twice before actually putting it on him to take him for a walk and I now have no problems with him wearing it for his walks
these muzzles are the best i have used the ordinary baskerville muzzles are not as secure as these because they have an extra strap on the top that clips over the head to the back of the neck strap stopping the dog from pawing the muzzle down the snout and off which is the problem i had with the original baskerville would recommend to anybody that has a particularly persistent escape artist of a dog
These muzzles are great they are comfortable and very easy to fit The only problem I have is the sizing according to the size guide the size 3 should fit a border collie they are not long enough to give a 1cm gap at the end of the nose Appart from that though they are great allowing the dog to pant ect
I am just buying this product My dog will eat anything hence a muzzle But a lady up the park yesterday had this one on She said she had wasted loads of money on different muzzles and that this was soft gentle comfy and enabled breathing drinking etc better than anything else she had tried and she highly recommended it Should I find anything different I will let you know I have a staffy and the lady I was talking to had a staffy But I note Pet planet have given excellent breed vis a vis size advice Happy shopping
This item is not any good if your dog is a GSD as there noises are not the same as other dogs I put this on one of my dogs and it was okay on the wth but for the length it was far to short for his noise the end was hard up against the end of his noise I hope this Company of Animals can sort this out
