We rescued a lab for around 2 months and are new to dogs. The rescued team strongly suggested Kong as it could keep your dog busy, but we didn't get it until now. I have regretted not getting it earlier because this is such a good toy that can my dog chew or eat. I can see why nearly every dog owner get one (or more) of these. But do select one bigger size than what they recommend. I saw this from some YouTube videos and absolutely agreed. I chose L for my lab but I imagine XL or even XXL would be much better. It will have a bigger hole and have more volume to fit more food.

Ive had Kong's in the past and when I got a new puppy I knew he had to have one. We put peanut butter inside it for when we have to leave him in his crate for a little while and it keeps him quiet and entertained. It bounces well for playing fetch and even my older German shepherds teeth dont make a dent in it as we bought him one too!

This is great for a busy puppy who needs to use his mind to get his food. It prevents gobbling food down too quickly and allows you time to get your own food while they are occupied in working for theirs.
