Good value

My 9 year old was put on this food by our vet - due to digestive problems. She has been on this for a few years and loves the taste. I mix with either fresh chicken or turkey so there is some meat with it (she is a dog!!) It has helped with the digestive problem. Everything she has is low fat. Better price via pet planet than buying through vet.

Excellent, dog loves it. Petplant great suppliers

We got our dog when he was 2 years old and he suffered from bouts of diarrhoea and vomiting about once a month. Eventually after a year he became very unwell and nearly died from acute pancreatitis. However they also scoped him and he additionally had a stomach ulcer and Hpylori infection. Following 3 days on a drip and antibiotic treatment and omeprazole he recovered. This food was recommended by our vet, we give him NOTHING else not even dog treats. We feed a mixed diet of wet and kibbles, for a year now we have a very healthy happy dog. We could order direct from our vets but Pet planet is cheaper and are very efficient. I ordered from Amazon once but many cans were dented and there was no juice in the can, I rang Hills and they said it was because it had been stored at the wrong temperature and Petplant were registered suppliers of their product so never again

Very good product from Hills

We have been feeding our 8 year old cockapoo Milo with Hills Prescription I/D low fat dry food for about a year now, on the advice of our Vet, following a bout of Pancreatitis that made Milo very unwell. As well as investigation and medication, the Vet suggested that we changed Milo's diet to this food, to help the symptoms and discomfort of Pancreatitis. As Milo improved with care and treatment, this food obviously suited him and we have not changed back, being low fat it's helpful for weight control as well as digestive health. The food is more expensive but I believe worth paying for, the old boy loves it (Milo that is, not the Vet!)

What the doctor ordered

Recommended by the vet due to fat intolerance. Jack eats it quite happily, and his coat has improved in look and smell, and his general health improved as well.
