The Hyperkewl Evaporative Cooling Pad for Dogs is one of the best products for keeping your four legged friend comfortable on a warm day, or after exercising.

The idea is that your dog will have a place to rest that is much cooler, and we all know what a welcome relief this is when suffering from excess heat. It works due to the way it manages water through the hyperkewl fabric. This absorbs, stores and releases water, through evaporation, from within the multi-layered material. All you need to do is submerge the pad for 1-2 minutes in cold water so that the hyperkewl can absorb the water. When this has been completed, you squeeze out any excess water, wipe the material dry and place it upon the ground, either indoors or outdoors.

Great Must have

I put mines in freezer find that works best & lasts for hours buy now to save being disappointed later must have for any animal in this heat 2/5hrs in freezer depending on type freezer 2:30 hrs took in mines French fridge freezer fab BUY TODAY

He loves it

Dunk it in a bowl of cold water for a couple of minutes squeeze out all excess (possibly easier to do in the bath as I get water everywhere, but that may be me!) then lay out. It can feel kinda damp but it isn't and doesn't get the floor wet. I put it down on some accepted vetbed to encourage use. Pup was suspicious at first but then we had some hot weather and I couldn't shift him. Lasted most of the day before I decided to redo the water but it could have gone for longer. IMO Brilliant idea it doesn't leak water and can be used anywhere car, home, travelling. I got a large for an Alaskan Malamute he won't fit on all of it when adult but it will do the job and will fit in his travel crate as well. Am a little concerned that he will dig it to pieces and I will have to replace it. It is worth buying but not the cheapest of items in the grand scheme of things.

did the job

We bought this for our puppy to use in the car when we went on holiday it is simple to use and he had no problems with the heat Due to the weather we have only used it twice but i am sure it will be used a lot have had a cool collar in the past and it was very good at cooling the dog on a hot day but this should be great for travel and around the home and garden it took longer to dry out than I expected but on a hot day should dry quick having had cooling products before I would advise that they are always dried out and not kept wrapped up when wet as they smell awful and get mildew but as long as you look after them they are brilliant Also good if your dog is sick and needs to cool down I wouldnt be without a cooling product

Expensive but works

This mat is not cheap but it does work and my Cavalier loves it on sunny days

Definitely Works

Despite using the size guide and measuring my dog to assess what he needed. The small product is really too small for him to lie out on. The material works well and retains water so you can even put on a carpet without leaving a mess but it is expensive for such a small patch of material, regardless of how clever it is it surely wouldnt dent their margins too much if they made the mats larger for all sizes of dog. I would have rated this product much higher on both scores if they had been more generous with the product consequently I feel a little ripped off despite the fact that the technology is excellent.
