Easily manoeuvred across any entrance, this extendable Barkshire Freestanding Wooden Pet Gate confines your pet to any area in your house by blocking off the access. The wide base prevents tipping and the rubber feet protect floors. Now you can prevent your pet from getting into your bedroom or leaving muddy paw prints everywhere after a walk. Your pet stays put whilst you gain access by simply stepping over it.

Not suitable for large or boisterous dogs.
Not suitable for avid chewers – if your dog does chew, we would recommend a metal pet barrier.

Great value

I have an open plan living area and wanted some kind of barrier to stop my Jack Russell diving through the front door at certain times. This pet gate suits my needs perfectly - it was easy to put together, looks quite smart and is exactly the right height and width to block his exit. I really like the way it is designed, and although I agree with previous reviews that it wouldn't deter a very boisterous, or larger dog; it's been fine for my dog. It's not heavy weight and probably would not be good for dogs that chew anything, but again - not a problem for me. I'm very pleased, and it was a very reasonable price.

Just what I wanted

Apart from there being no instructions I really like this gate. It is much better than the child gate on the wall I've used before as we can step over it with ease but it keeps my golden retriever back! Also I can move it out the way when vacuuming my hallway.
