Absorbent, prevents odours, low tracking and, best of all, virtually dust free! I had to change cat litter from Cat's Best Gold, as the dust was making one of my two boys wheeze. I tried a wide range of supposedly dust free litters and they were all terrible, many turning to powder after a few days and tracking horribly. While I miss the convenience of clumping litter, and Fresh News doesn't last as long as CB (it goes soggy and smells of ammonia after about a week of being used by 2 cats), it is the only litter I've tried that is genuinely dust free. One 12lb bag fills a large litter tray twice, and it is much cheaper per bag than CB, so it only costs slightly more in the long run. I do miss only needing to change the litter every six weeks, but a weekly change is a small price to pay to keep my boys healthy and happy.

Having previously used Yesterday's News cat litter for 14 years (which now seems to be unavailable anywhere) I find this a very good substitute - in fact, practically identical. The seal-able bag is useful. I much prefer Fresh News to another paper-based litter I tried (beginning with Biocat...) which went soggy and then smelt unpleasant. Fresh News is the brand I will be using from now on!

Ideal Product for fussy cats!

Fresh News litter ticks all the boxes. Dust free no odour and lightweight. Having two very fussy cats, this litter gets 10 out of 10 !

Good news I have only just started using this product and so far I am very pleased with it.
