My dog destroys footballs so I was told by a friend about a boomer ball. I got the 8inch ball to start with. He loves it. Best thing Ive ever got him. He cant destroy it. Chases it around the house getting frustrated with it. Ill definitely look at getting him the bigger one at some point

This was bought to replace previous boomer ball which was lost when it floated out to sea. My dog usually destroys balls completely within hours but we had had the previous ball for 5 months and it had suffered no damage beyond a few scratches. He plays with it for at least an hour a day non stop dribbling it for most of his walk. He is 6 years old and a large staffi cross and quite strong but the ball has withstood everything he does with it.

Our five-year-old retired greyhound loves this ball, even though he cannot pick it up nor easily push it around. But it can be jumped on and he can try to chew it. It is a hard ball and not for adults to kick around like a football. But great fun. Update ------ After 18 months we have replaced the ball because of excessive wear and plastic fragments due to a lot of chewing. Our dog is not happy with this development.

For a change my young lab was more interested in the ball than the cardboard box it came in. He has already had much fun with the ball. It is sturdy and I envisage it lasting a long time. Definitely an outside ball. I ordered an 8 ball and limit the time my lab plays with it purely because he is not fully grown. I would recommend.

My dog won't play on his own - so I have to kick a ball but this ball is rock hard and hurts my feet. Okay if your dog just loves pushing a ball around. It looks very strong.
