This product has helped my poorly cat

My cat who is 15 was diagnosed with kidney failure (10-15%) about 9 months ago. I have been giving her he k/d dried which she access to 24/7 and the k/d pouches (i give her a little through the day as it drys out.I truly believe this food is keeping her alive!

This is for my Persian who has kidney disease so needs what this diet gives her and the great taste, she also prefers gravy to jelly it's easier to swallow. Being that she has been putting on weight with this diet I will continue to use this along with the dry k/d.

My Siamese cat is 17 yrs old, with kidney failure. Beef is really the only flavour he can tolerate, so we buy this. However at his age, and with barely any teeth left, we find that with this particular brand, the chunks are too big and rather firm. I have to mash it up for him as he can't chew them easily and therefore either gives up on it, or else swallows them whole and later brings them back up again. So not ideal for him in particular straight out of the packet. It would be better if it was a little more digestible and more in favour of elderly cats, the ones most likely to suffer renal failure and who are maybe lacking the teeth to chew properly!
