Q & A
Q: My puppy is always hungry with her cold pressed kibble and I want to give her something to crunch on. She has a very delicate stomach. Is this mixer suitable for a 5 month pup as an extra treat?
A: This food is a good mixer, and is both wheat and gluten free and so should be more gentle on delicate stomachs if transitioned sensibly. We would recommend you would have to try a little and see if there are any reactions. First of all, however, we would suggest you check the feeding guide on the food you are using against the pups weight and make sure you are giving the recommended allowance, you might need to consider changing portions or even the food to one with a higher protein level, if you feel the pup is not satisfied on what it is currently eating.
