I've swapped to this kitten food as I was giving our kitten Hills Science diet kitten food pouches which was getting too expensive as he is 9 months old now and on 5 pouches a day. He also has a sensitive tummy so I can't change his food. I've used Iams in the past and rated it so thought I'd give it a go as it's half the price of the Hills pouches. He liked the Hills kitten food but he loves the Iams kitten food more. Paws up from Todd ??. He licks the bowl clean after every pouch which he never ever did with the Hills food. It has loads of gravy which he loves to as he doesn't drink much water. Changing food upset his tummy to begin with but it's settled down and seems fine. Will use this kitten food till he's 12 months old and will probably continue buying Iams. Good value and quality meal.

Feeding Guide

For cats up to 20 weeks: feed 3 1/2 pouches per kg body weight per day fed over 4-6 meals; 20 to 40 weeks: 2 pouches per kg of body weight per day fed over 3-4 meals; Over 40 weeks: 1 1/4 pouch per kg body weight per day fed over 2-3 meals.

Your cat may eat more or less depending on age, temperament and activity.

Always ensure fresh water is available and when switching to Iams, gradually introduce over 4 days.

Ingredients

COMPOSITION:

Meat and animal derivatives (42% amongst which 28% chicken), oils and fats (0.2% fish oil), derivatives of vegetable origin (0.6% beet pulp fibre), minerals.

ADDITIVES (/kg):

Vitamins: vitamin D3: 200IU, vitamin E: 100IU, taurine 400mg, biotin 100μg. Trace elements: manganese (manganous sulphate monohydrate): 0.68mg, zinc (zinc sulphate monohydrate): 11.3mg.

*Supplemented levels added at time of manufacture.
