Great food for dogs with stomach issues

Couldnt find any food that didnt give my dog a bad stomach - hes clearly Intolerant to chicken & Turkey so needed to work out which single source protein did work - and it turns out its lamb. This food is good quality - probably as near to raw as youll get in a kibble. Well worth the cost
Excellent food

My dog suffers from allergies to many things as confirmed by blood tests. I searched extensively to find a food which was based on a single source protein which was suitable for her, namely Lamb or Beef. Whilst there are other, cheaper, Lamb basednprodufts outbtjere, when you start checking other ingredients many include things like Poultry fat or egg, and would not be suitable. This food has limited yet highly appropriate ingredients and is perfect! Please don't change the recipe!!

The only food our boxer with digestive problems and allergies to almost everything, can eat. He likes it, so that's good enough for me. PetPlanet please keep stocking it.

Ask A Question
Q & A
Q: My dog is allergic to storage mites D. Farinae, D. Stronyssinus, T. Putrescentia, are there any in this food?
A: Statement form manufacturers of Acana: "Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that our foods, even our freeze-dried foods, are free of microscopic mites. Microscopic mites are also especially common in dry foods and households in general. Even if the food were to arrive mite-free, it is very likely they would accumulate during storage in your household. For that reason, for pets with mite allergies, we typically recommend a wet canned food over a dry food" However unfortunately there are no plans for Acana to make canned food therefore we recommend that you choose a different food, if you are unsure at all, given the allergies we would suggest speaking to your vet first before making your choice.
