Description

PURINA® PROPLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Canine EN Gastrointestinal is a highly digestible complete veterinary diet to help manage gastrointestinal and pancreatic conditions in dogs of all ages, including puppies. Intestinal disorders are frequently associated with poor digestion, which may worsen symptoms, so it contains selected highly digestible ingredients in order to help reduce the workload on the compromised gut and to minimise the amount of nutrients that are not absorbed and remain in the gut.

PURINA® PROPLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Canine EN Gastrointestinal is low fat, which is particularly important for dogs with pancreatic conditions, and contains a type of fat that is easier to digest and absorb. It also has omega-3 fatty acids and soluble fibre (prebiotics) to help promote a healthy intestinal environment.

KEY BENEFITS:

  • Low Fat level to help minimise fat maldigestion
  • With a specific fat source (coconut oil) high in medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA) for easy absorption in the gut
  • Easy to digest Ingredients to help reduce workload for the compromised gut
  • Suitable for All Dog Sizes
  • Veterinary Clinical Nutrition

Great stuff Wyn on 8 January 2019

I have three dogs one old with gastro problems, one 4 years overweight with gastro problems and 1 9 month old - a total nutter. All are small dogs under 8 kilos. If one dog is on a special diet them they all go on the diet as they all intermingle and swop bowls. I thought that they would baulk at the change from Purina small dog biscuits to this new one. They have not. They eat it and are all flourishing. The old one with gut problems is no longer in pain and back to normal, the middle one has stopped having the problems, they have all lost a little weight but are eating well. I will be sticking to this !! I would certainly recommend the biscuits and the service.

Only diet my lab bitch can tolerate after being poisoned 18 months ago. More expensive than other kibbles but it is a specialist diet after all. T
