PURINA® PROPLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Canine NF Renal Function is a complete veterinary diet for dogs with chronic kidney disease. It contains restricted amounts of phosphorus as this mineral can build up in kidney patients and has been shown to contribute to progression of the condition.
It also contains limited amounts of high quality protein to help reduce the build-up of toxins, while helping to maintain muscle mass. Omega-3 fatty acids also help maximise the natural anti-inflammatory processes and reduce blood pressure inside the kidney.
Key Benefits:
- Dietary phosphate restriction to support kidney function, helping to slow down progression of chronic kidney disease.
- Restricted but high quality protein to help reduce the build-up of toxins in the body and therefore improve quality of life.
- Omega-3 fatty acids help reduce blood pressure in the kidneys and maximises the natural anti-inflammatory process.
Please note: PURINA® PROPLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Canine NF Renal Function is not suitable for dogs that require a high protein/phosphorus diet - such as pregnant bitches or growing puppies.
