Hay makes up most of a rabbit's diet and should always be provided. Rabbits need hay for their digestive system to function properly so it should be the best quality! The greener the hay, the more nutritional value it will hold.
Norfolk Pastures use only the best varieties of grasses to produce Norfolk Pastures Dust Extracted Meadow Hay, they consist of Rye, Timothy and Cocksfoot and various meadow grass, which are harvested in mid-summer when they are lush, green and near to seeding, it is then naturally dried in the sun after cutting, this helps to retain as much nutrients as possible. It is then stored in dry barns until it is time to be packed.
