Simply Miraculous

We bought this to tackle our working cocker spaniel puppy's pulling problem. She is very intelligent, and has learned lots of behaviours and tricks very well and easily. Training her to walk to heal, however, has proven nearly impossible; she gets too easily distracted and pulls in any direction there is an interesting smell, another human or dog. As soon as we walked her using this, the pulling stopped. That is to say, she simply couldn't pull as it redirected her back to walking at heal. This has been amazing for two key reasons: 1) she is no longer pulling, so not choking herself on her collar or risking being underfoot 2) it very gently redirects her attention to us, so she is learning the correct behaviour (she is focused on us and clam enough to take on board the positive reinforcement) We currently use the harness with our regular lead, but met an owner the other day who uses the leader lead. We are happy just using a regular lead, but she was happy using the leader. Honestly cannot recommend enough!

Does what it claims

I found the harness effective in reducing my dogs pulling. It is easy to fit and adjust. The negative I am finding is that the part of the harness that goes around his chest is black and the dye is coming out onto his chest. Being that he has a golden coat it stands out and is not good. I would appreciate Kate suggestions to resolve this issue. This is the reason I only scored it as fair
