My dog Glen loves it

Glen my 16 year old retriever has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and has been given only a few months more. He has been put on a special diet and can have no more ordinary treats. It is great that we can get this dog food here because the vet cannot get it. Glen prefers this one to the one the vet supples. Between this dog food and the medication we are hoping that he will have longer than just a few months. It all helps.

Superb price

Following initial purchases from my veterinary practice I could not believe the saving I made purchasing this product from Pet Planet. Excellent price point and delivery.

Good value

This food was recommended by the vet for my poorly dog. He enjoys the food and is getting better by the day. The website was cheaper than buying it from the vet.

She hates it-but must eat it

My dog Gypsy, a 10-year-old 11kg Cavalier-King-Charles Spaniel (with a heart condition) hates it-she, in fact, went on a two-day hunger strike. And who can blame her, It is a grey, textureless, congealed blob. But she has to eat it in order to dissolve her HUGE bladder stone. Her stone is getting smaller (it is now half the size) The food works but you can't let them have anything else. Follow your vet's instructions to the letter. She is eating this, taking antibiotics, and an anti-inflammatory with regular monitoring via ultrasound and urine checks. We are avoiding surgery if at all possible due to her age and heart condition. Of note, this can cause constipation (it did) so watch for that and be ready to ask for the appropriate meds to deal with that issue.
