Great bed

This is an excellent bed the only downside is the popper at the opening but I've now sewn some more in and it's perfect , I have slept on it while my puppy was having a few bad nights and it's very comfortable it's definitely worth the money

Not just for dogs

I bought one of these from our local farm store, mostly so my dog could lay out on the crumbling decking. I found it just as comfortable and wanted one too, hence purchase. So now my dog and I both have a very comfy and waterproof bed to lay on in the sun.

Excellent quality and value

We have 2 Dalmations and they love cuddling up together and this bed is perfect size

Had to stitch a zipper onto the bottom end as dogs pulled the inner bedding out.

This is a nice thick and chunky bed, but I have had to stitch/sew the end of the bed up with a zipper as the buttons DO NOT keep the hollow fibre bedding inside of the external cover. I recommend ONLY if you have a dog that does not chew or like to investigate things to see what is inside, otherwise youll end up with a house full of white fluff everywhere like I did with my little devil who always manages to destroy even beds that say they are anti-chew. Not very impressed with Ancol design. They need to do what I did and tailor their beds with zippers instead, rather than using buttons that are impractical and useless. Good quality material, just a poor design finish with the buttons!

Large chunk chewed off within minutes

Read some of the reviews that gave it the thumbs up. I bought 2, one for our 16 weeks old Golden retriever puppy and one for our 3 yr old - he doesn't chew any more so it's fine for him. On opening the package the cover looked good except for the large gaps between the press studs. However, the puppy who managed to chew a 2 x 4 corner off within minutes of delivery while I was getting her food ready. She has now found the large gaps between the press stud opening and is taking some persuading to not try to destroy the inner cushion.
