Had a larger slicker and new it was perfect to remove tangles and leave smooth coat (it has also been used to great effect to revive plush toys and faux fur jackets after my dog died) . I wanted something smaller for my tiny Coton puppy girls .It works a treat and leave me with a lovely fluff ball . Small enough to go round tiny mouth. Although she considers any brushing equipment as torture instrument , this is the one which she tolerate the best. great value
