Beautiful Aquarium

This is a beautiful aquarium and I am very pleased with it. I bought it to replace an old 60L tank. It arrived extremely well packed with many layers of bubble wrap around the box to protect it. It was easy to set up, coming complete with filter, heater, water treatments and instruction booklets. I did at first think that the filter looked huge! I placed it on the back of the tank and it seemed like it took up a third of the space, but now the tank is properly set up with plants and decorations I find it far less noticeable. I did consider buying an external filter but I am actually very pleased with this one, straight away from set up it has kept the water crystal clear and seems powerful. Usually when setting up a new tank you get cloudy water for up to a few days, but this cleared within 24hrs and has stayed clear ever since. The tank came with a well fitting plastic condensation tray which stops the problem of water collection on the lid and possibly running down the back when lifted. It has a good sized opening at the front for feeding fish. The lighting (2x18w white bulbs) seems fine and is plenty bright enough, it even came with a spare bulb. I have added a blue freestanding LED light that I use for night time. Overall a lovely tank at a reasonable price and I am glad I bought it.

Had my eye on this tank on another website, but petplanet offered the best price for the package so I decided to take a chance with them. The tank when it came was wrapped up snuggly in a thick layer of bubble wrap, and inside it was equally well packed. Needless to say, there was no damage. The tank comes with everything you need - filter, lights and thermometer. Although I was a bit disappointed to see the blue moon lights are not included. I am keeping a temperate tank so I cannot comment on the heater. But I am happy with everything else - it was also all well packed and came in good condition. I set up the tank yesterday and so far its all stable. Looking forward to starting to cycle it with my fish soon!

Great Value

Ordered as a Christmas Present and was a little concerned we would not get this in time as was told by courier that would be delivered within 3-5 working days of them receiving the order from Pet Planet and so delivery before Christmas could not be guaranteed. However, after a couple of phone calls, Petplanet amended the delivery to Express and the order was delivered the following day. The tank was well packaged, easy to set up and looks great.
