Good hardy toy. No good for playing pull games but that's fine as my BC not really into tug/pull games. He chewed a fin off pretty quickly but the fish body and squeaker still intact after a few weeks. Quite a substantial size and squeaker isn't too loud so not as irritating when he decides to go for it and squeak it non-stop for 5 minutes at a time.
My dog destroys toys and it only took him 20 minutes to work a hole in the seam and pull the stuffing and squeaker out. However, that one hole is the only one he's managed to make - it is still recognisably a fish, very robust and restuffable! He just spent half an hour finding little biscuits hidden in it: I picked up the stuffing, restuffed the fish and it's ready for another day. Very impressed with the quality.
Still going strong. Big enough to keep my retriever interested, he loves it and it's showing no signs of of wear and tear.
I have a golden retriever and a 9 month old spaniel who loves to chew so buying toys is really difficult They love any kind of rope toy but the little one chew on and eat it all if given the chance They dont like Kong toys x28I think its the material they dont likex29 but they both love this The label didnt last long enough for me to read it but the rest of the toy is very popular my retriever loves to carry it around Theyve not yet tried to use it as a tugofwar toy so I cant tell you how strong it is but Im relieved that Ive not wasted my money I might well get them a different shape for Christmas x29
The fatcat is well made strong and my puppy loves it. Great value for money.
Ruby destroys every toy going this one is the best yet. She has managed to chew off most of the fins but the body is still intact If you have a dog that chews and destroys toys get one of these you wont regret it. Well worth the money.
My seven month old puppy loves his fishy lol. Still in one piece after a few weeks of serious chewing faring better than most of his toys.
Exactly what it said on the fin
As Described really A great Dog Toy That is Durable I Have two Parsons Russell Terriers one of them usually rips toys apart in seconds We are on day 3 and the toy is still as new Thought that a fish was a strange choice for a dog toy though maybe thats why it has lasted longer than other toys less limbs to pull off Is a little expensive but the fact that its lasted the terrier test makes it value for money
Says it's a toy to play tug of war but you can really only hang on to the tail end of it. It's quite a big fish so designed for larger dogs. Have found all the Fat Cat toys to be very tough and this is no different.
I got this as a present for my Jack Tzu boy who turned 1 last week. He loves toys but tends to find the weak spot & rip it to pieces. After reading the reviews, I thought this was a good one to try & if it lasted a week, it'd still be an improvement on every other toy I've brought for him. In 2 days he'd chewed off the fin on the top & worked a hole then pulled out all the stuffing! Fish is now in the bin! If your dog isn't an obsessive chewer, I'm sure this toy would be fine but for someone who has a dog like my boy, it's quite expensive for 2 days worth of play!
