Looks very well made but it's for a present so I can't comment on its quality in use.
Thank you for your review. Kind Regards Petplanet Customer Care
Total success and utter failure posted on 16/04/2017 by TaleSpinnerWordWeaver
I have 3 Chinchilla 6 yr old girl and Mother and Daughter 10 years and 1 year (rescued I would not have bred at that age). My 6yr old was completely uninterested in this and after a week had not touched it. Mother and Daughter love theirs and it has made a huge difference to me in not having spoilt hay to throw away. I have no hesitation in recommending this product. If pets it's bought for are not interested then I would suggest using it for fat balls for birds, or fill with nesting materials for birds, miniature hanging baskets. Think outside the box for fun.
A good way to feed fresh hay posted on 06/11/2012 by SallyM
I bought two of these for my guinea pigs cage to make the cage a bit more interesting for them and give another method of dispensing fresh hay One of my guinea pigs completely ignores them but I have seen the other one eating from both so I guess it depends on the personality of your piggy The one that eats from them is a few years younger than the other so maybe younger piggies are more inquisitive Either way I think this is a great product

Im a hobby breeder of quality Guinea Pigs its nothing but the best for them These food balls are so versatile I stuff them hard full of Timothy Hay Readigrass as well as veggies Guinea Pigs get bored easily boredom can lead to bad habits x28such as barbering the piggies overgroom each other which leads to bald areasx29 I have lots of these balls theyre in use every day If there was a 5 star I would give it

These are amazing i hobby breed guinea pigs and bought 10 recently The piggies love them I half fill with hay and half fill with grass They go mad for them and it certainly keeps them active during these miserable Autumn days The hanging attachment works perfectly and offers a different way to access the treats They are also rustproof which means they are totally safe for guinea pigs I would highly recommend these

I have to say this is fantastic the chickens love getting the cabbage broccoli and all sorts out of it I have made mine longer by attaching it to some string so it hangs from the roof of our 6 foot run

My two Roberovski Hamsters manage to get the food I put ontop of some hay that I squash into the ball The ball almost the size of a tennis ball I hang it from the cage roof and they pull out the hay to get the food

I got one of these for my rabbits It keeps them occupied and means that they cant just bolt their food because they have to extract it first
They love it!! posted on 25/02/2011 by lmg1612
My two guineas love this ball. I fill it with hay or a bit fruit as a treat and they spend ages pushing it around and it usually ends up in the igloo! Great fun to watch.
Good for hay posted on 18/02/2011 by Bunnymum to Cinnamon Sandy
I have two of these in my rabbit hutch which I fill with hay. They both enjoy pulling the strands out of the ball. One of mine has a bell on the bottom which they think is more fun. Not sure if it's the same make as this one. Both look identical other than that and work well.
