Perefct for nervous 12 year old labrador using a Qashqai!
I read all the reviews for this for buying it as I was concerned about the steepness of the ramp for my nervous Labrador. She is less agile jumping in and out but also quite nervous about new things but this longer than average ramp meant that it was less steep for her. It is also quite wide and has a rough surface to avoid slipping. After just a few biscuit bribes she has no problems using it to get in or out of a Qashqai. The non stick surface is like sandpaper so careful with your hands and I've put a cover over my back seat for when I stow it away. I think its fairly light for what it is as it feels solid too and fine for a 29kg lab.
Easy to handle and works perfectly
Very easy to handle (open) anti slip works wonders for the woofer walking up on the ramp.
Tri Fold pet ramp; worth the extra cost.
Purchased as our 8 year old gsd is starting with arthritis and are restricting jumping in & out of boot. Very nervous to begin with but treats work wonders!! Still need to block him at side to stop jumping in but just needs to get used to new way of getting in. Very sturdy ramp which does not flex and obviously gives confidence. This also means it is not the lightest, or easiest, to manoeuvre but we have to get used to that. The surface is very rough, just like sandpaper, so need a cover of some kind if carry in back of car as am sure it would rub seats. A supplied bag would have been nice.
Very sturdy for my puppy St. Bernard, (15kilos so far) clips onto the car easy to unfold. Fits nicely in the boot. Good grip for paws, takes a bit of coaxing to get him up and down but treats do the trick. Would definitely recommend.
Great buy for our 9 year old (large) labradoodle who is suffering from arthritis and finds it difficult to jump up now. After a few trial attempts - leading her up the ramp by holding on to her collar - she now walks up it on her own with no difficulty.
Great product as described our one dog took a bit of coaxing to use it but with a lead on & a bonio waiting worked a treat !! Easy to fold out not too heavy will be using it all the time very good buy .
i was looking for a sturdy ramp for my 53kg german shepherd, this one fits the bill perfectly as it is long enough not to have a steep incline/decline,it is a bit heavy but does fold up neatly to go on the back seat of the car,
Just right for elderly Spaniels and Labradors climbing up into Defenders and Freelanders. Only criticism is that climbing surface is so abrasive that dogs do not climb it willingly, but have to be led up it. It folds up well and straps against side of load space with ease.
