Easy to assemble, easy to use
I am currently fostering two elderly (18 and 20) cats both of whom have mobility issues and needed a simple solution to enable them to get onto raised surfaces (jumping down not a problem).
These stairs are easy to assemble - no tools required just a bit of gentle pressure to get the pieces to click into place. The instructions are picture-based and simple.
Once assembled, the stairs are light enough for a person to move but stable enough for the cats to use with confidence. After an initial sniff and inspection, they both took to them straight away.
I bought a set of these steps for my dog who has osteoarthritis so pull get on and off the sofa. So pleased with them I purchased another set for the bedroom
very useful, we tried a ramp the dog did not get on with it at all. He is happy to use these very sturdy steps
Finally our puppy can now get up and down from furniture on her own
well made second p[urchase
Perfect very safe dog loves them.
This is so easy to put together My dog did not like these at first he could not understand why I had blocked his way to my bed It took him a couple of days to get used to them and now uses them for fun gets on and off just because he can
The stairs were so easy to fit together even I managed it and that is really saying something as anything flatpack is not my forte Took the dog a day to figure out how they worked but the cat cottoned on in an instant
I would say that I found the rise on the stairs to be higher than anticipated and if you had a very small dog with joint issues theyd struggle to get their legs up the stairs because of the height which seems to be the same as real stairs
I bought these steps for my dog as she had hurt her paw a few times jumping off my bed couch chairs etc these are easy to build and very sturdy after a few attempts she was using them herself and my dog is a year old and has a stubborn side but she is very comfortable using them herself
My ten year old cocker who has been unable to jump on the sofa like she used to do has found a new lease of independence because of these steps Had to tempt her with food on each tred at the start as she was so used to us lifting her up once she gained confidence she was off up the stairs on her own Yes our dogs get old but doing what we can to help them is always positive Use to help her in the car too I have a golf and height is fine and gives her confidence to enter and exit on her own Have a bay window that she can now take in the world at her leisure Easy to put together too Pricewise I think is expensive for plastic but then again you cant put a price on your dogs mobility
I have two elderly cats aged 14 and 15 and four kittens who have trouble reaching the bed and settee They are both on the portly about 5kg each side now due to their age I wanted something robust and practical These were perfect really easy to assemble and sturdy Neither could they be knocked flying by accident but were very light to move around where needed It took the elderly girls a day or two to try it but they absolutely love it So much so they often sleep on the steps The carpet squares is great as the cats have a sure footing As I have four kittens as well the steps see a lot of action and have held up well I read the reviews on this site before buying and I would recommend this to anyone with an elderly pet I would caution anyone buying pet steps to measure the height of the furniture car or bed to see whether the two or three steps are the most suitable This is a great buy for anyone with elderly pets needing assistance
