quite easy to erect, very nice to look at and good value for money. now my doggie has just to get used to it! she will andit is just right size for border collie - she will be able to curl up or stretch out but will keep warm and dry!
Good kennel for the money posted on 30/06/2010 by gorj
I am so pleased with this kennel - really good value. Fairly easy to put together - only a small number of sections, a few screws etc. I bought this for my mature Cairn Terrier and she has plenty of room in it. I've managed to buy some plastic cups, the sort you use for putting under castors on furniture so as not to mark laminate flooring, to put under the legs so the water doesn't seep up them in the wet weather.

My master thought it was excellent value for moneyi especially liked the polystyrene packagingtook him 45 mins to assembleafter he had chiselled new hinge recesses so the roof parts lined upThen after i had chewed the packaging i helped him spend 1 hour with a hoover collecting the polystyrene from around the patiogardenmy did we laugh
Great Value so can't complain too much posted on 16/06/2016 by KeithP
Great kennel at a good price. The materials used I would say were of a high quality but the there were a few issues putting it together and needed to trim the base a bit. The instructions that came with the product were for a fixed roof and not for the opening roof. I also needed to go out and buy an extra pair of hinges as these were not included. Overall if you are able to put up with these issues then I would say the kennel is a bargain.

I've bought 1 x large & 2 x medium kennels for my 3 labradors. All dogs are small and under 24 kgs but I think I've made a mistake and should have had all 3 large. Whilst the kennels were easy to put together and quite good value, I have lined each one on the top/bottom/side with insulations sheets to keep my hounds nice a warm. The bottom slats of the kennel are certainly not good enough and have lined that with thin plywood aswell. The idea of the opening top is just wonderful - very easy to clean out and find lost shoes/toys/feed cartons! I treated the outside with another coat of preservative and I'll probably do it again this summer. I also put 4 rubber ??cups/coasters on the bottom of each leg so that it didn't stand straight on the ground/patio, and sealed that off with silicone so that water didn't collect in the cups when it rains. I would have prefered them to be more of an oblong shape rather than so square, but that is just my preference. Overall, I am very pleased but maybe the quality of wood could have been a bit thicker/heavier/better. Score: 8/10
