We love the open top litter box for our British short hair blue, but more importantly, he absolutely loves it. Took him less than a day to get on board.
It's big, but it's not too big and it does look as stylish as possible.
The topdown approach does reduce a lot of tracking but you do have to commit to hoovering the top every now and again. Even so, much less sweeping than we were doing before!
And I don't have to look at his mess - it's revolutionised our life and for such a small amount too. The quality is definitely better than the majority of other litter trays we've bought and had to send back too.
Really recommend it.
Really good tray for agile cats
We bought this tray to try in our commercial boarding cattery, particularly with younger cats in mind. Really good quality product and hardly any litter leaves the tray.
Having tried several boxes over the years this is by far the best. No joins to allow leakage. High sides to protect walls. Top entry to minimise mess. All of my cats love it. Some go inside and one stands on top and drops his mess down the large hole. i have now replaced all 4 boxes to this one due to the good value. Light weight and easy to wipe clean. Handy carry handle. Comes with integrated scoop if required. Suitable for all cat litter types and plastic doesnít stain. Good large size suitable for all cats. Best cat product for a while.
Better than I ever imagined!
I was nervous that my 2 cats would hate this but after letting them jump in and out a couple of times when it was empty they were more than happy to jump in there once i put litter in! Less than 10 minutes after I put the litter in it both cats had used it and jumped out leaving only 1 or 2 bits of litter on the floor - previously there would have been loads from the burying! Such a good purchase, quick delivery, and a good price, my only frustration is that I didn't find and buy it sooner!
Nervous first time user !
Okay so I've never used this kind of litter box before and wasn't sure how my boys would react! I have 3 male cats, a Cornish Rex, a Sphinx and a Siamese. My Siamese had been used to balancing 3 limbs on the rim of the tray and the other limb in the tray, so he does do a bit of shuffling around and seems to have finally worked out how to do a no.2 in it. The first week or so I did sometimes find deposits on the lid from him. The other 2 have taken to it okay and don't seem to mind that they can no longer fling the litter on the floor. It has cut down the amount of litter that sticks to their feet. I purchased 2 to replace 3 trays and that doesn't seem to have caused any problems. They don't take up as much floor space as the trays did, I don't get any splashes up the wall. Very pleased with my boxes thank you !
Cat loves it and so do we. No smells no mess and finally a litter box the dog canít get into! Love it.
Attractive design and functional. Less litter outside the box and my toddler can't easily scoop the litter out anymore :)
I bought this as my cats kept missing the litter tray and I just didn't know what to do, I saw this and looked at the reviews so gave it a try, my cats now don't make a mess outstide the litter box and it's so good my daughter is buying one for her cats as well, I would definitely recommend it to any cat owners
The first thing to notice is itís size! Itís practically a swimming pool, which is great as it is plenty spacious for a larger cat or Tom.
The main box is made from a flexible softish plastic, which is nice and light, good to handle and easy to clean.
The best thing about this box is that the dog can no longer help herself to the delicious little treats that the cat leaves behind. BINGO! It has also slightly reduced the amount of litter that is scattered over the floor, as for the most part the paw pad clingers now stay behind on the lid.
Itís looks neat and sleek and with itís smooth and contemporary lines it looks less like a litter box, which is always nice.
I changed from a more traditional style box and my 7 month old cat went straight in there, no hesitation. A great buy and well worth the money.
We've tried two different front entry litter boxes but our cat is so eager that the contents usually ended up on the mat. This does the trick - a bit heavy to lift but purrrfect in every other respect.
