Great for my 20 and a half years old cat, she loves it!
My darling Bluebell has always been a fussy eater (just like many cats are) and has always preferred fish flavoured cat food. When her kidneys started to show signs of age, my vet recommended Hills KD prescription diet in his words 'If you can get her to eat it, we will be giving her the best chance on top of the daily pill I am about to prescribe.' He only stocked a meat flavour, I pureed it with a little water into a pate as Bluebell has few teeth left, but as I suspected she wouldn't touch it. I looked for a fish version and Pet Planet stocked it. She loves it and a year down the line, her kidneys at the moment are stable and all bloods in the normal range.

Does the job
I have a cat with kidney disease. I use this wet food as an essential part of his diet which is gentle on his system.

Good value..
My 17 year old cat eats the food that was recommended by my vet. She is a very fussy eater, so this must be tasty. I sometimes mix it with other food for a change for her. Buying off you saves me a lot of money, that means I can afford to pay my vet bills, so I am happy and so is my cat.

Great - for a Renal food
I have tried my cat with many types of renal diet and this is the one he dislikes the least. Maybe because its in gravy and he likes jelly ones- but he will eat it if hungry whereas the others he'll ignore. Warmed for 10 seconds in the microwave helps. Its hard getting our little darlings to eat any renal diet but this is the one I will carry on buying. Can mix with 1/3 of normal senior food and is more readily accepted.

brilliant value
sadly my cat has kidney disease and the vet wanted him on a renal diet and to have "wet" food - despite trying different brands and types my cat refused to eat any of it - my vet originally gave my cat this food when he was in hospital for tests and the cat scoffed it down!! though when the vet told me the cost of getting the food it was eye watering to say the least - so i decided to come straight to pet planet to see if they sold it and they did! having bought several items at really good prices i was really pleased to be able to use a trusted site to give my cat the specific diet he needs - i have literally saved a fortune ordering this food on this site and delivery is always quick and easy and the quality is brilliant value for money - this is my first stop for my pet needs

Great tasting product.
This is for my Persian who has kidney disease so needs what this diet gives her and the great taste, she also prefers gravy to jelly it's easier to swallow. Being that she has been putting on weight with this diet I will continue to use this along with the dry k/d.
