The high moisture content of Urinary S/O Feline cans increases urine dilution. Since nearly 64% of cases of FLUTD* are idiopathic cystitis, a wet diet is recommended for cats with recurrent cystitis.
Urinary S/O Feline effectively dissolves struvite uroliths.
Low RSS (Relative Super Saturation) diets encourage an undersaturated urinary environment, unfavourable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
Diluting urine decreases the urinary concentration of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Greated urinary volumes also ensures regular bladder wash-out./

KEY BENEFITS:

  • Idiopathic cystitis
  • Struvite dissolution
  • Low RRS
  • Urine dilution

Suitable for: For cats with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, struvite urolithiasis, management of recurrent struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis. In older cats renal function should be checked before Urinary S/O is recommended.

Thank’s to Royal Canin and PetPlanet I have two happy, very healthy cats! They had both been troubled by uriary tract infections but, I can honestly say Royal Canin S/O has made that a thing of the past! A huge thank you from my two furry friends!

Changed to Royal Canin urinary after our cat went off his current urinary wet food, so far he is loving the Royal Canin although it does appear to have less gravy than the previous cat food.

Prescribed eating

It's a great product - easy to use, enjoyed by Patch, our cat, and the smell is inoffensive. Tips for improvement: I wish that the meat/fish content were free-range, or that a free-range option was available, and I would rather have the product packaging to be plastic free.

Very good food and both my cats love it, although only one cat has the Urinary problem. Best value ever from PetPlanet.

A saviour for my cat.

My eldest cat ?? Became very ill a few years ago with lower urinary tract disease. Thankfully a combination of medication from the vet & this special food helped him to get well again. He enjoys good quality treats & normal cat food, but I always give him the urinary at intervals just to keep the crystals at bay!

He loves it!

Since he has had to have the urinary, our 9 year old Persian can't get enough of it. He used to have Royal Canin's dry food but he likes this much better.

Excellent Deal

This is a perfect deal for a product of 100% quality, delivered within 4 days. The price is excellent. My cat has had a urinary condition for 12 years, and it is a costly condition to live with. So when companies can keep the price low and a delivery you can depend on, it is appreciated immensely.
