The only food our boxer with digestive problems and allergies to almost everything, can eat. He likes it, so that's good enough for me. PetPlanet please keep stocking it.

Expensive but worth it for upset tummies.

Wee Staffie kept on getting upset tummies. He's prone to allergies and this food, although expensive, has to be worth it as it's settled his tummy.

My dog is allergic to storage mites D. Farinae, D. Stronyssinus, T. Putrescentia, are there any in this food?
Statement form manufacturers of Acana: "Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that our foods, even our freeze-dried foods, are free of microscopic mites. Microscopic mites are also especially common in dry foods and households in general. Even if the food were to arrive mite-free, it is very likely they would accumulate during storage in your household. For that reason, for pets with mite allergies, we typically recommend a wet canned food over a dry food" However unfortunately there are no plans for Acana to make canned food therefore we recommend that you choose a different food, if you are unsure at all, given the allergies we would suggest speaking to your vet first before making your choice.
