Cats Best Smart Pellet Clumping Wood Cat Litter 20Lt: Reviews

Cats Best Smart Pellet Clumping Wood Cat Litter - 20Lt

Cats Best Smart Pellet Clumping Wood Cat Litter is made from 100% natural organic fibres, and is an ideal clumping litter for long haired cats that works as a natural odour and germ trap.

Smart Pellet Clumping Wood Cat Litter is made up of organic pellets that are heavier and have a lower tracking effect. As a result, they don't stick to fur, even with long-haired cats and therefore don't get carried out of the litter tray. Moisture and odours are absorbed quickly and long-term by the fibres' ultra-fine capillary system. This stops odours developing over a long period of time – all without chemical additives.

  • Compostable and 100 % biodegradable.
  • Mini-Power-Pellets.
  • Lower tracking effect – ideal for long haired cats.
  • Doesn't get carried out of the litter tray.
  • The natural Odour and Germ Trap.
  • Excellent odour retention.
  • Super economical: Base content may remain 4-6 weeks in the cat toilet.
  • Naturally soft to the paws.
  • Excellent absorption – More than 700 % absorption.
  • Organic: from 100 % natural organic fibres.
  • Significantly less waste.
  • Waste clumps can be disposed* of in the normal household toilet (*be sure to check your local disposal regulations).

You will love this cat litter as it is a long lasting, environmentally friendly litter that traps germs and smells, and your cat will love it as it is kind to their paws.

Contents: 10kg, 20Litres

Cats Best Smart Pellet Clumping Wood Cat Litter is a pure natural product, produced from 100 % renewable organic fibre – raw material without artificial and chemical additives. For the production of Cat’s Best Smart Pellet only the finest organic fibres are used, which come from untreated, domestic fir and spruce wood. This litter is the best I have used so far. I have four cats in the house and previously the litter was tracking everywhere. This litter does what is says. It clumps, doesn't stick to their feet and is easy to dispose of. The cats like it and I like the convenience of it.

Although this product is quite good for the purposes for which it is intended, my wife tells me that it is not as good as the 'Cats Best OkoPlus Clumping Wood Cat Litter' version. Something about the 'clumps' not holding together as well. The one she prefers is "https://www.petplanet.co.uk/product_group.asp?dept_id=506&pg_id=1553"

Far and away the best. Economical, no waste, flushable, no odour, no grains tracked about the house. Tried so many, now wouldn't buy any other.

I have been looking for ages for an eco/recycled product that the cat does not traipse through the house and this is it. What is also a bonus is that as long as you take the poo out it is compostable. So a win win product for us all.

Have been using this product now about a year. It seems to last a long time and it is easy to remove the balls once it has been used. It does not spread all over the house as other cat litter can. Overall a good buy.

Have 3 Maine Coon house boys and 2 litter trays. This litter is fantastic No smells, a little tracking but nothing a brush can't sort and very ecconomical. I buy 2 bags every 4-6 weeks, wish it came in bigger bags.

My search for the perfect cat litter was over when I found this one. Ideal for my hairy Siberians, even with their very soft, long undercoats. Very economical, excellent clumping properties, no smells at all and, although you still get a few crumbs on the floor when the cats jump out of the tray, it's far less than any other litter I've used. Also it arrives very quickly when ordered. Very happy.

No false scent added to this litter which is added to some other products and so no resultant nasty smells. Excellent for my two Maine Coone long haired cats as litter does not scatter over the floor. Cats like using it and it is very easy to scoop out of trays. Have tried other cat litters but always come back to this one.

This cat litter is one of the best Ive found for my Ragdoll Because it is wood pellets it doesnt get stuck to his fur and is better for the environment and can be put down the loo This is the only wood pellet litter I have found that is also clumping making it far easier to clean and means the litter lasts loads longer Great buy

Did a lot of research and chose this brand as it came out top for longhaired cats Although pricey its actually very good value because it clumps so well that not much is thrown away after use It also deals with smell well We only needed cat litter for 3 weeks till our cat was allowed out and the 20 litre sack is now sat in a shed over 34 full Cat seemed happy with it too

Not cheap but it diminishes the smell of very stinky kitten poo It clumps wonderfully so there is no left over damp litter in the tray after scooping I think the kitten prefers the standard Cats best but I find that tracks more and the clumps break up so I will be sticking with this

This is the best cat litter on the market. It really is Natures Gold. It may be more expensive than some other cat litters but it is economical and masks smells really well & it also clumps well. It also lasts a long time.

Im so pleased I made the switch to this product Its much easier to clean the litter box and there is very little odour Best of all no more powdery trails around the house as previously The only evidence that my cat has used her box is a few whole pieces of the litter just nearby and I can quite easily cope with that

Having tried literally excuse the pundozens of different cat litters over the past 50 years this is the best I have ever used and because of its ability to contain the urine within the ball needs no changing but just top ups and the occasional sieve to get rid of powder build up so works out cheaper and less hassle in the long run

Ive been trying a new litter nearly every other month all biodegradable as each seems to have one or another flaw eg inadequate clumping or odour control or tracks too much So far this one seems to have the best odour control thank goodness and while the clumping isnt as good as say Worlds Best strong formula it is good enough And so far it doesnt seem to track as much as the finegrained stuff though they all track at least a bit Worlds Best or Cats Best The cats took to it immediately too So I think Im going to stick with this one

This is great cat litter for long haired cats and I changed from Cats Best OkoPlus because of that but its not as good When the cat does her business it is hard to see and also to get at with Cats Best OkoPlus you can see exactly where it is and its a lot lot easier to get out

I used to buy the OKO PLUS and was very pleased with the fact that although expensive it lasted a much longer time than other litters Being biodegradable also was a benefit meaning it could be flushed down the toilet When I heard about Nature Gold being suitable for long haired cats because it doesnt stick to their fur I decided to try it Because of this it doesnt track as much Its the only one I now buy

The cats love this kitty litter and so do we. easy to clean up and very good value for money with the added bonus that you can flush the clumps and nasty stuff down the loo. The odour control is brilliant and if you use the stuff as instructed there is very little waste. Down side my cat love flicking it about and playing football with it but it does sweep up easy.

This product has good odour control but our cats prefer the finer version of cats best which also seems to last longer so I will be going back to ordering the basic cats best rather than the gold cats are using the floor in protest!

Excellent product - but where's the 20 litre version gone?
posted on 09/08/2008 11:50:32 by Jenny, Leicester

This is a great product. Not so much waste as ordinary wood based pellets that I used to use. Minimal tacking. Bit on the pricey side to begin with, but lasts much longer so economical in the end. Disappointed I couldn't find the 20 litre version on the website this time round ~ is it discontinued?

I have used this litter for some time. It clumps well and is very economical. There is a little dust as well as the pellets but generally it is not a messy litter to clean up. My cats like it and do not tread much of it about although I have a lidded litter tray. It is much better than the other litters I have tried. A big bag lasts ages as you don't have to empty the tray regularly.
