Description

PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS Canine HA Hypoallergenic is a complete hypoallergenic veterinary diet for the diagnosis and management of food allergies in dogs of all ages, including puppies.

Some dogs may suffer from food allergy, which can cause skin discomfort and/or digestive upsets. PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS Canine HA Hypoallergenic is a true hypoallergenic diet specially formulated with a single protein source and purified carbohydrate source and, in addition, the protein has been broken down (hydrolysed) into very tiny components that are too small to cause an allergic reaction,. Such hydrolysed diets are recognised as the best type of food to use during an 'elimination diet trial' when trying to diagnose (or rule out) food allergy. During such a trial it is important that your dog is fed no other food or treats. PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS Canine HA Hypoallergenic is also useful for dogs with severe bowel disease such as IBD as it is particularly highly digestible.

KEY BENEFITS:

  • Single hydrolysed protein with low molecular weight to help avoid allergic responses
  • Purified carbohydrate sources to help avoid allergic responses
  • With omega-3 fatty acids to help maximise natural anti-inflammatory processes
  • Enhanced levels of zinc, omega 6 and vitamin A is also involved to all together give this feed exceptionally high protein, carbohydrate and fat digestibility
  • Re-sealable and recyclable packaging

Suitable for: Dogs from 4 months old that experience food intolerance and for the long-term management of food allergies.

Contents: 3kg

Does what it says on the bag stephen.adlington on 5 April 2022

This food is every bit as good as it claims to be. It soon settled my dogs stomach problems and he really loves it.

He loved it Finn on 13 December 2017

My dog loves this it is right for his size and it also helps with his allergies which most hypoallergenic dog foods don't as this one specifically breaks dowN the protein in it. The only downside is it makes your digs breath smell. All small price to pay if it keeps them healthy.

Fantastic results kck on 24 February 2017

My vet advised me to start my westie on this food, as at 9 years old he's unfortunately started some skin problems, only been using it for nearly 2 weeks and i can already see a slight change in his skin, it isn't looking so pink and the sores seem to be calming down, which is also making sox look much more comfortable and happier, he's sleeping better which is giving him more energy to run about. From day 1 I've never had a problem with him eating the food, which I was nervous of at first. Hoping this is the answer to his issues.

i would reccomend this food Jack on 30 January 2017

This food was recommended by my vet as a food challenge to manage a significant allergy. My dog ate the food as soon as it was put down. I began to see an improvement in his symptoms during the fist week of changing to this food. Six weeks on he continues to eat the food as soon as it is put down, the allergy symptoms have resolved and my dog is back to his usual energetic and bouncy self. I will keep him on this food which I consider to be superior and affordable given the positive benefits in return. Happy dog and thrilled owner. He is a jr terrier cross.
