Description

Treat your hamster, and other small animals, with this Rosewood Shred-a-Log Corrugated Tunnel .

This fun addition to their environment has many different uses, allowing them to use it to hide in, or play with and chew. You can fill this with straw, which will give them a new aspect to this corrugated tunnel, so do not be surprised if all you see of your furry little friend is a nose or the tip of a tail sticking out the shred-a-log.

  • Styled like a cut log
  • Safe and non-toxic material

Small animals will enjoy playing, hiding and nibbling with this toy, and it can even be used with parakeets and parrots when slid over their perch, or hung from a cord.

Russian dwarf loves it Fran on 11 June 2020

Out of all the new enrichment stuff I've added to the cage, my Russian dwarf hamster made a beeline for this and started happily chewing and scratching at it. She also seems to enjoy scuttling through the tube. I'm glad she's having fun with this :)

Our cheeky little hamster spends a lot of time peering out from this tunnel. She doesn't bother chewing it but loves running in and out and generally just chilling out inside it.

No problems with this item, the gerbils love it.

All my Syrians have loved these Samantha on 7 May 2016

All my Syrians have loved these and really enjoyed shredding them. Some hamsters are on a mission to destroy them as quickly as possible and others take a more gradual approach. With this in mind I would say they last about a week on average once my hamsters have started shredding them but sometimes they just use them as a play tube for a week before they start shredding. They are very safe as only made of corrugated cardboard so no sharp edges or anything. Not really suitable for my robos as just too big for them to chew, I don't know about other breeds of dwarves. Quite big so no good if you have a small cage with limited floor space
