OK so far

The basket arrived pre-assembled (for which I was grateful) and has so far been used for one trip to the vet. It did the job, though the cat was able to push his paws through the grill and, more worryingly, through the underside of the door and make it pivot quite a bit. I am hoping that he doesn't manage to squeeze more of himself through when we next use it. It's still better than the horrid plastic thing we got from previously from a local pet shop.

Sad but true.

I wanted or needed a new basket to hold my cats while at the vets, the old plastic carrier was far to heaven before even a cat was in it , &they certainly did not like it., This one looks fine until you get very close up, the hinge that is fastened on with clips is wobbly on one side, the peg is to thick to push in the metal ring but that can be adjusted. But it's the ends of the basket where it's been Finished off, that I'm not struck on much at all, as one opens the door, the basket has at least four, 2 inch long bits of basket producing outwards, this has upset me and the kits they were not keen to say the least, and came out quicker than then when they entered it. I shall have to use it. But I will have to pad the basket so my cats do not get hurt. Or even start to chew those bits. Either way someone is going to get hurt, I just hope it's not me.as for the cats, they could choke on the bits they bite off. This to me is important. And these baskets are really the bee's knees. Something of an old tradition that should have been made well, and Finished off well, but in my case it was not. But I would advise anyone to get one because my own could have been a one off. I'm still going to use it, as I like it very much. As for the three month old kittens they have no choice in the matter.its fair play.

Love this cat carrier!

I am so pleased with my new wicker cat carrier. It is great quality, very strong, had plenty of room for my ginger Tom to fit in comfortably and it looks gorgeous. So much nicer than the plastic ones!
